A correspondent of the Baltimore Sum,
writing from Rockingham county, Vo.,
says:
A strange frruk of nature has token
placo in the tnu’k of the severe hailstorm
thut occurred in this region some thn i
weeks ago. Wo are not aware of any
thing of the kiud occurring heretofore.
Ufa this: that all the orchards in the
track of the hailstorm have come out in
full l>loo«n. Home orchards are in os
full bloom its they ever were in the spring.
Not only the apples are iu bloom, Iwt
the locust trocs in many places uro also
in bloom. A gentleman cuuio to my
house last week and told me on hi* road
here he saw an apple tree with several
bushels of ripe apples on, aud thousands
of Wood h oh the same tree. A w-ry
pretty but strange sight.
