deep interest in the affairs of the

the lodge reside in the country,
they manage to attend lodge
meetings finite frequently.
The Odd Felloes have a hue
lodge, and the social features, in
addition to the regular work of
the organization, make it ouei of
the most desirable organizations
we have iu our midst and one that,
accomplishes much good.
May they wax strong and keep
up their good work is the wish of
The Herald.

Some of aur young people are very
much in favor of the -establishment of u

provide this amusement for our young
people? ft is one of the most popular
forms of healthful erereise, and we be
lieve it. would be .profitable to its pro

Note to Mama and Papa
Come r all who long for Christmas cheer,
For Santa's treasure house is here.
Biggest, Best and Lowest-Priced Toy Store Anywhere!
H URRAH 1 Santa Claus has
tajeen possession of his
store full of new toys and asks all
of itis friends to eorne and see
kini.
We have made g-oat prepara
tions for the holiday trade and
want all of the little folks to be
remembered, for it would be a
poor sort of a “How-do-you-do,”
for dpar old Santa Clans if the
children were not remembered.
Of course there are dozens, yes,
hundreds of new playthings at
this store. Such things nearly al
ways have their first showing at
Jackson’s.
Of course there are the old
friends, too—Dolls of all descrip
tions and prices. There are the
games and the engines, and the
animals and all the others.
It is a big and beautiful show,
with a welcome for everybody,
whether they care to buy or not.
Come to See Us!
If Mrs. Walter W. Harris, San-
dersville, Ga., will bring this
paper to our store in a week she
will get $1.00 worth of Jewelry.

Sandersville Water Works and
Electric LigluJPlants, tliejj grand
totul from the City and Tebnille
aggregating the sun of twelve
bundled and eighty dollars and
eleven cents; this sum not in
cluding any charge for the street

bo charged for by private owners
at the rate of six dollars each.
Several new natrons have been
added during the past month and
the number is constantly increas

The larger income hastens the
day when the city may have tree
