ANTi-BALRAMIC GONORRHfEAL SOLUTION,
Warranted to curt in five Days.
rj'lllS incomparable and invaluable remedy so
II long known, and used with such unparralleled
success in the Canadas for the last 30 ycats, ap
pears to need no panegyric. Its operation upon the
human system is such that it invariably acts like
a charm, for the relief and radical cure of a certain
common and disagreeable “ills the flesh is heir to.”
This prize obtains its own name from the certain
success which has attended it through all of its
trying circumstances, namely, “five days,”—the
same success which followed it in a Northern lati
tude still obtains in a more Southern. The formula
or recipe was obtained at great expense, intrigue
and hazard by M Chevcres, from the celebrated
Indian t hies Wabenothe, or Great Moon, whilst
he, with others was pursuing the lucrative Fur bu
siness in tin- North-west with the Indians. —
Wahonoshc prized highly and use it with invariable
success throughout bis two tribes. Its known and
valued virtues have already enriched to an almost
incredible extenttbe children of this warlike prince,
not only by actual sale of the article itself to in
dividuals, but by parting with copies of his receipt
at enormous prices to the Chief of every tribe of
Indians in America, with a solemn promise to the
Great Spirit, never to divulge the “art of its com
position until he sleeps with bis fathers,” although
free to use it in their respective tribes, which
places it in Hie hands of every Indian who rely
w ith, I may say, religious confidence on its cura
ble powers.
Below is a copy of the translation as near as it can
be anglisized of the deed given by Wabcnosbe, to
M. ( heverct, when be purchased the original recipe,
and bad twice assisted the Chief himself through
the tedious manipulatory process of manufacture
Few white men would credit the length of time
which is consumed in preparing the article for im
mediate use.

which my children have had sent among them as
a punishment by the Great Spirit, and hope that in

lie made from the stalk, a thing not more absurd (
than for one to offer meal from the corn stalk, to j
say nothing of the difficulty of raising the Tomato r
so far North.
Dr. Miles, of Cincinnati, is the proprietor of the
Tomato Pills (proper) for the great benefits of t
which, lie Holds himself bound, and in honor pledg- s

tliis is a vegetable of great use, and value, it will 1
doubtless be valuable information to families to
know that the Yellow are just doubly as valuable 1
as the Red Tomato, and produces twice as much 1
of the Impatiiic, or active principle, and when used
as a daily vegetable will lie found to keep the
system in much better condition than the other
kind; many will recollect with what trembling
anxiety calomel lias been given to children, and
how they then wished fur a substitute. It has
long been known that the Tomato contained ca
thartic principles, but not until of late was it
atrcrtaiiied that they contained alterative and diu
retic properties. The Faculty embrace and use
the preparation most cheerfully, for the reason that
they know what it is Were it a patent mystery,

ple purifier of the system, and therefore equally
the enemy of every disease. I will mention one
case. 1 have a sister who had been for a long pe
riod severely afflicted with dropsy in the chest and
was brought by it to the very verge of the grave.
She was attended by the most eminent physicians
that money could procure; but all their efforts to
restore her to health, or even to mitigate her suffer
ings were fruitless ; and accordingly,we all consid
ered her immediate death as inevitable. By good
fortune, however, as she was in this situation, ex
pect ng every day to be her last, your pills were
introduced into my family, and so speedy and pal
pable were their effects that three doses visibly re
lieved her, and in less than three months she was
perfectly restored to health. This case, I and all
who were witness of it, (but more especially the
suffering party,) considered to be the next thing to
miraculous; anil yet 1 could mention many more
of an equally desperate nature, in which your pills
wore equally successful in rescuing the patients
from the jaws of death. Need I add that the popu
larity of your medicine amounts to enthusiasm in
this section of the country ? But this I presume
you know from the immense quantity you dispose
of 1 may mention, however, that notwithstanding
its general use, 1 never heard an individual complain
of its effects. My residence is 12 miles from Ral
eigh, on the road to Fayetteville. I am, with sen
timents of regard, your ob’t servant.
A. G. BANKS.
To Dr. Peters, —Sir—For upward o of fifteen
months, 1 have been cruelly afflicted with Fever
and Ague; and during the time could find nothing —
though I find applied to every thing that gave me
any thing like permanent relief. At length, how
ever, your pills were recommended to me, by one
of our best phj sicians, and 1 am most grateful and
happy in being able to add, that 1 had scarcely used
two boxes when 1 found that they had restored me
to perfect health. Since then, various members of
my family have used them with equal success—
and consequently 1 feel it my duty to apprise you
of the fact, and to request of you to publish tills
ccvuiiuiiu-,\.........t n a dd my public testi
mony to the almost miraculous virtues o£ your un
rivalled medicine. Respectfully yours,

Communication received from the eminent Dr. J.
11. Irwin of Florence, Georgia:
Dr. J. P. Peters —My Dear Sir—On the night of
the llthinst.. 1 was called in great haste to the
house of a fellow citizen, (Mr. Lee,) where I found
his son laboring under a most alarming attack of
Cynanche Tracnealis (Croup) and apparently be
yond the aid of remedy. By the greatest good for
tune, however, 1 had in my pocket a broken box of
your pills—four of which 1 administered, with
such immediate happy effect that in a few minutes
my patient was at ease, and out of danger. This
case, in connection with my name is at your ser
vice—and 1 have the pleasure to be able to inform
you that your inestimable medicine is in such great
favor with the faculty here, that I believe there is
not one of them who does not use it in his private
practice. Yours most resp’y.

rpilß great celebrity of this unrivalled Compo

the proprietor but little need to say any thing in ils
favor; for it lias been generally conceded to it, that
it in beyond nil comparison the best remedy for ex

Indeed the.speed and certainty of iis operations,
have the appearance of miracles ; as ulcers, wounds,

piles, spider and snake bites, &c. &e., immediately
yield to its superhuman influence. Thus, it prop

break and heal a bile in five uays, will allay and
perfectly cure an ulcer in two weeks, and the most
desperate crises of while swelling that rim ho ima

powers of attraction are so wonderful that they will

“Io Cordial l)e Lucine,” or, in English, “the
Lucira Cordial,” is a general invigorator of the
human frame ! In all the various cases of languor,
lassitude, and debilitation ; it is an unfailing rente

celebrity is based, is the facility and certainly with
which il restores the virile powers when they liavo
been dpstroved by disease, lime, recklessness.or any
of 1 1 1 c numerous causes which terminate in the
prostration of those fund ions.
In common with the generality of really good
medicines, this v ordial contains nothing of a mcr

so simple, yet so c fficacious, that while il ran reno.
vnto the prostrated energies of a giant, an infant
may use it.notonly with impunity, but wilh ad- .
vantage.
The usages of soeiety are unfortunately surli,
that, notwithstanding the benefits which would be
sure to result from it, wecnnnotenlcr into an nnnly.

of the documents which have been received, as

that there is scarcely ever, il any such thing nt all,

that thcseevils are the effects of artificial causes, •• |
and may be speedily subdued olid removed by the
