Report of the Committee appointed to tender the City Hall for the use of the Constitutional Convention, was read, re ceived and adopted. [This report shows what progress has been made in the way of fitting up the City Hall for the use of the Convention Verbal report of the Committee to whom was referred the proposition of Maj. Mont gomery, in reference to the Female College, was made, received and adopted. Resolutions looking to prefixing the words “North” and “South” to the name of streets where they cross the different rail ways and retain the same name, were read and referred to the Committee on Or dinances. A resolution permitting a wood shed erected in front of the stare of Mr. was read and adopted. The Committee to whom was referred the petition of T. E. Whitaker, reported adversely to the petition.
