course.
Each guest was presented with a
pretty souvenir, accompanied by a
bright appropriate verse, written by
Mrs. J. K. *Ottley.
Mrs. Hteele wore a gown of white
velvet, made prlncesse, showing appli
cations of rich lace.

and reception tendered Miss Daisy
Camp, of Birmingham* the charming
guest of ^Ir. and Mrs. Edwin J. Perry,
at the Niks' hull, by Mr. C. H. Caldwell.

dance. Concealed behind a profusion
of garlands und carnations was the or-

Mr. Caldwell won the hearts of ail
his friends by his attention to each and
every one of tho guests, and his gen
erous .hospitality will be long remem
bered by all of the two hundred and
fifty present. The duming lasted until
the hours off morning, ind even then
the merry party wn* loath to give up
the spirit of the evening.
