jective of the Nicaraguan army
been the capture of the city of Tegu
cigalpa. and several of the neighboring
towns and villages have. It Is reported,
been taken by Zelsyaa’ troops. It Is
reasonable to suppose, therefore, that
the coming battle will be fought In
the neighborhood of the Honduran

J H. Crutchfield was arraigned In the
police court Wednesday aflernoop and
waa lined 1100, sent to the stockade for
seven days and bound over In 11,000
bond on a charge of assault and bat-
terv, to answer to the Mate courts. He
waa charged with assaulting John
Templs Oraves Tuesday afternoon.
Crutchfield admitted that he had as
aaulted Mr. Oravea and said that hs
