St. Pauls Episcopal chuipli at Macon
was beautifully decorated on Wednes
day afternoon for the marriage of Miss
Fannie Ross Plant and Mr. Julius Clay
Murphey. Only the families and a few
Intimate friends were present to wit-
ness the ceremony.
The church was decorated with ami-
lax and palms, white roses and Easter
lilies. Around the chancel rail tho
southern snillax was wreathed and the
palms bunked and vases tilled with the
long-stemmed roses wt-re artistically
placed and many Easter lilies were
used, while the chandeliers were twined
with amllHX.
Promptly at r. o’clock the ushers en
tered. Mr. Eden Taylor, Jr., and Mr.
Harold Murphey, Mr. Lawrence Hunt
and Mr. Hugh Kilpatrick, and preced
ing the bridal party were two charming
little boys, each with a dainty dower
girl, who carried armfula of en
chantress carnations.
The bride entered with her brother-
in-law. Mr. Wallace McCaw, who gave
her away. Mr. Gray Coleman acted aa
best man. nnd the ceremony was per
formed by Rev. John M. Northrup, the
rector of 8t. Pauls. Mrs. Murphey
since her debut two years ago has been
one of the most popular young women
In aoclety.
Mr. Murphey, who Is the son of Mr.
and Mrs. Tlmddeui Murphey. Is u line

Mr. and Mrs. Murphey left for a two
weeks’ wedding trip through the East,

certs to he given Saturdny afternoon

Kmlergurten Association, at the home

The home of Mr. and Mrs. Pappen-

lanta. The chorus for the concerts Is
remarkable, being composed of singers
who are soloists In church choirs of

ored chiffon satin, inserted with panels

chip, wreathed with white roses and
caught with a bow of apricot silk and
velvet, was very becoming. She car
rled a white prayer book, with a show-
er of lilies of the valley, and her only
ornament was a boivknot of diamonds,
given by Mr. Ellett.

No charity now before the Atlanta
public makes a more poignant appeal
than the ward for crippled children at
the Presbyterian hospital. It Is a de
plorable fact that the equipment In this
department Is Inadequate both to the
