MIGHTY GOOD LESSON
TO LEARN
A man, probably fifty years old now,
In poof health, remarked as he was
making a deposit In Atlanta's oldest,
savings bank, the Georgia Savings I
Bank and Trust Company, that If ha'
had good health again be could and
would sav* his money. He confessed
that, like thousands of young men In
Atlanta today, he did not see the ne
cessity of saving while be was young,
strong and healthy. That waa the time,
ho thought, to have a good time and
to have a good time cost money—In
fact, It cost everything he made, and
now when he has nothing but poor
health he to trying bard to save. Can
tho young men of Atlanta learn any
lespon from this man’s experience?
Stop and think what you would do It
your camtng capacity was reducod by
sickness. Think what you are going
to do when you get old. Don’t keep
your noao to the grindstone all your
life! Start to save now. Amounts a*

FOOD ECONOMY
How to Save Monty and Get Strong
Nature always economizes. There Is
no waste In nature except as man
brings It about.
In keeplng^tp life and energy. Nature
requires just so much of the simple
elements that go to make up proper
food—man often causes waste of ener
gy by over-eating.
A Minnesota man cut down on his
food schedule and was abte to get rid
of a lot of Ills and be comfortable. He
writes:
“For 25 years I suffered from chronic
rheumatism and many other serious
Ills. Including Indigestion, headaches
and sluggishness of mind and body.
' were very trytng-
as advised by a doctor, who Is an
ardent advocate of Grape-Nuts, that
my trouble lay In too much food—too
much meat—eaten too fast without
proper mastication. He advised me to
try Grape-Nut*.
"An experiment of only a few day*
convinced me that he was right.
I made the change, and have found
Orape-Nuta not only valuable as n
food, but extremely helpful to perfect
digestion by thorough chewing.
"Two eggs and a handful of Grape-
Nut* with a little cream, thoroughly
chewed, for breakfast, now take the
place of four eggs, some bacon or h3m
and a lot of pancakes or fried potatoes.
"With a corresponding change In my
other two meals. I find myself, for the
first time In 25 year*, entirely free from
rheumatism. Indigestion and medical
