Weekly Weather Report
Was Bullish, But No Worse
Than Expected.
New York, April 30.-Tbe cotton market
opened excited at an advance of 6 to 8
points, although not to strong as the mar
ket at New Orleans. In both markets the
. weather new*. The July option In
the local market was the moat active
month, and led in the advance.

and central states, except Arkansas, where
rains were heavy, and south Texas, but
unfavorable weatbor existed In north and
northwestern Texas, where temperatures

Texns-^The mean temperature was nearly
normal In the coast and southwest coun
ties, and from 2 to 4 degrees below else
where. Light to killing frosts occurred on

ties. The precipitation was light and scat
tered over the greater portion of the state,
but was heavy In the south central, north
eastern nnd southeastern counties. A de
structive local storm occurred In Cook

Oklahoma and Indian Territory—The
weather waa generally cloudy and unrea
