<*w Orleans, July 10.—Liverpool conforms
strictly to the price movements In the
American markets. At first nbout 6 higher,
futures readily followed the decline which
uevfioned on onr side. Spots are firmer and
PI'-* large; total 10,000 bales. Weather con-
? Wmi* over uight were again quite favora 1
nud this was the principal reason for
oppression today. Opening nbout 8 low’er,
ctobfr broke to 12:19 in the first half hour.
wl to hold off and consequently
and running up to the end of the year. The
advances demanded on the long dis
tant deliveries are said to Ik* due to
the fact that spinners nre not willing to ac
cept orders for deliveries so far abend with
the raw material mnrket In «uch an uncer
tain condition.
Many authorities In the trade predict 16c
cotton before tho end of the year, nud un
less the spinner Is thoroughly well covered
at present prices orders booked for lout
distant delivery would prove auythlug but
satisfactory so far ns profits nre concerned.
Weaving ynrns are rather quiet at the pres
ent time, as the bulk of tho business up to
the end of the year and the beginning of
1908 has been placed. It Is believed, how
ever. that should the mnrket show nnv
further signs of advancing additional orders
will be placed to cover any anticipated
future requirements.
Regulars Needed Badly.
Even the remote delivery eontracte that
are being closed in this market for regulars

some special prices have been reported on
such cloths rjj 27-Inch 64x60*. which hnv
brought ns hlgn ns 4%c. Sales of nearly 300,
