PREVENT DISCRIMINATION
IN PRICES OF COMMODITIES
A very Important measure waa In
troduced In the senate Thursday by

This bill, If enacted Into law, will

vent the sale of a commodity at higher

"Section L Be It enacted by the
ceneral assembly of Georgia and It Is
t, r eby enacted by authority of the
i'ame ; That any person, firm, company.

domestic, or any ofllcer or agent In

authority aforesaid, That It shall be the
duty of the solicitors general In the
several counties of their respective cir
cuits to enforce the provisions of the
preceding sections of this act by ap
propriate actions In courts of compe
tent Jurisdiction.
Sec. 5. Be It further enacted by the
authority aforesaid. That It shall be
the duty of the Judges of the superior
courts of this • state specially to In
struct the grand Juries of their respec
tive courts at each term thereof as to
the provisions of this act.
Sec. 6. Be it further enacted by'the
authority aforesaid. That nothing In
this act shall be construed as repealing
anv other act, or part of act. but the
remedies herein provided shall be cu
mulative to all other remedies pro
vided by law.

Many theatergoers are. declaring that
(he vaudeville bill at the Ponce Da
Leon Casino this week Is the superior
of any like attraction seen here this
season. It Is true that the acts collec
tlvely make a magnificent perform
ance. Chick and Chtcklets, the btcy
cle riders, have established themselves
thoroughly, while Steele and Edwards.
Rae and Brosche are already classed
as favorites. There wilt be perform
ances Friday night and Saturday matl

Vaudeville Next Week,
For next week an unusually strong
collection of vaudeville talent will oc
cupy the stage at the Ponce DeLeon
Casino. Principal among the features
will be Armenta, the mirror dance
who la known all over the country e
one of the strongest drawing cards

deal of mechanical equipment la re
quired to atage this act and It Is one

yesterday of Injuries received In an ac
cident over eight months ago, when l.e
woe caught between the top of a load
of wood he was delivering and the top

neral of Willis Benham Jones, son of
the late Rev. Joseph J. Jones, who died
suddenly In Clinton. Ill, was held at
the home of hla sister, Mrs. A. B. Cun-
yus, near this city. The Interment was
at the family cemetery. The deceased
waa 28 years of age and la survived by
