Eureka Oil for CUollcln Horses,
On Saturday last a inulo, the property of Mr
John IV. Uaiuom,of Russell county, Alabama,
was violently attacked with cholic in the streol
in Columbus, was very much swollen, and (ruin
all appearances could live bu* a short time un-
Icm relieved. Two ounces, liquid measure, ol
Eureka Oil was administered end in five min-
utee relief was perceptible, and in twenty min
utes the animal waa entirely relieved.
This new and valuable mixture is certainly a
great acquisition to the list of remedies here,
tofore before tho public, which, in r. edition to
the many reliab it baa given man,, is now
found tobo invaluablo for the horse, in the
cute of bote and cholic, and the removal of
fisttbas and naval galls- Wo have dune our
duty in spreading its good qualities before the
public. Call on Danfoith, Nugal & Co., or
A. K. Ayer, and procure the never tailing
lemedy.—Col. Sun.

We regret to announce tnwiuepension of
the Georgia Uailruad and Bankimr Compa
ny to-day. The itnmidiuto cause of the
suspension, we undersfiind, was the (.•■lure
of tbeir deposit bank, in Charleston, from
which enccio had been ordered. We will
only adu, that whatever may bo tho present
inconvenienco to many, no hill holder nr
depositor ehould eoffer tho loss of u i-cni on I
the issues of this hank.
The company by its lost statement has u
surplus of more than half u million, uod se
curities of the host kind, easily convertible
in ordinary limes, lo twice the amount of
their present circulation. With these mean*
ar,d an average gross income of about ?3,OOQ
per day. with u proud and weallhy set of
stockholders, tbo bill holder has nothing to
fear but present inconvenionee. We make
those remarks solely lo caution tho unwary
against sacrifice. The bills are liitrineical-
ly as gcod now as they were before the sus
pension of tbo bank was announced.— .-lu-
