Decrease, 59.322 bale*. 42,688,590 lb».
By the above statement it will be seen that the
increase in receipts at Charleston and Savannah,
is 203.169 hale*,or 78.040,075 lb*. The
in the receipts at other ports is 26*2.491 bales, or
120,7*28.671 lbs.—making a deficiency in this year’s
crop, when compared w ith last, of 59.322 bales, or
42,688,5% lb*., which, divided by 450, being an
average weight of New Orleans cotton, will show
a deficiency of 91,863 bales. An error occurred
jnoor last statement, by which we made the total j
/ailing off 91.300, instead 0f69,000 hairs. Our ad
vices from Florida, so far a* regards the receipts
and stocks, are no later than published, last week;
if the dates due had been received we have no
doubt the falling off in the present crop would
reach over 100,000 bales in Ii»«.

stocks of our dry goods merchants, and their
spring stock this year will he much heavier than
