COTTON GINS!
IMPROVED ON WHAT IV IS BRFORS I
CO.\StDEKKU I»KICF«:i’T.
‘‘TT IIAV E heretofore labored iliat my cotton gins
j ■- should be thought superior to any raanufac
i ured in Georgia. By offering to the public such
an article I have been liberally patronized, for
which I fed grtcful. J have warranted my fine
gins. I have never had one returned as not com
ing up to what I promised. It i» known I have,
and do promise that mv gins make superior cot
j ton. I have no travelling agents. I rely on mv j
! gins telling a better tale for me, and one that will |
; be sooner believed than a travelling agent; in 1
short, 1 hope, to make my gins sell themselves. 1
; feel confident in staling that 1 have made ralua
bit improvements in fine gins, and that 1 shall
hereafter furnish an improved gin to anything i
heretofore sold. I would also inform citizens of i
Warren, Washington, Wilkes, Columbia and ]
Burke counties, that ! have purchased Simpson’s
improvement fur band machinery, and those who i
purchase my gins in the counties named will have
the use of the patent free; the material, when tie- '
sired, will be put on the head block, free ot charge, j
It will require a small outlay of material on the j
band wheel, which will be furnished at the lowest ;
possible rate, and which, when used, reduces the j
draft loan astonishing extent; the character of ,
1 the improvement is simply by propelling the ma- ;
chinery by a slack band, instead of a tight one.— I
My finest Friction Roller Gins are sold at S 3 per
saw.
My plain gins are also greatly improved, and
will be sold according to kind, from S 3 to £2 50
per saw. My finest gins have heretofore sold
higher than other gins, and yet, heretofore, I
have not been able to supply the demand, whilst
j I have been unable to sell but few'plain gin*.
Orders or letters, addressed to rne at Sparta,
will be promptly attended to, .and gins delivered at
purchasers’ residences, free of char -e

The Galvanic Belts, Bracelets, Baatls,
Garters, Necklaces, Arc.
In somecases of a very severe character and of long
, standing the power as applied hy the Galv anic Rings
is not sufficient to arre-tth*- progress of disease and ulti
mately to restore health. The improved modification in
the Galvan c Belts, Kracei ets, &c., entirely reme
dies this objection ; any degree of power that is required
can readily be obtained, mid no complaint which the
mysterious agent of Galvanism can effect will fail io he
permanently relieved, ’flu se articles tire adapted to the

preventive for Apoplexy, triLEpxic I-ns, and similar

Christie’s Magnetic Uluitl.
Is issued in connection with the Galvanic Rings, and
a!l their modifications. This composition has been pro
nounced hy the French Chemists to be one of the most
extraordinary discoveries of modern science. Jt is be
lieved to poss ss a remarkable power of RENDERinc the
Nerves seiisitive to Halvaiug action, by these means
causing a circulation of the influence at the seat of dis
ease. e.nd thus giving rapid and permanent relief. No
othercomposition in chemistry is known to produce the
same effector to impart a similar property to the nervous

| His engagement will terminate ou the st October

He will give instructions in the art of Cotton

obtained in any English or Northern Dye-House.
His chemical knowledge «>f the Cold Blue Dye is
su erior to any hitherto known in this section of
country, and by his mode can, from the. same
amount of Indigo, dye nearly three times the
| amount dyed in the common way. His instruc

dyeing colors most suitable lor the Factory, viz:
