following distressing symptoms; sickness at the
stomach, headache, dizziness, palpitation of the
heart, impaired appetite, sometimes acid and pu
trescent eructation, coldness and weakness of the
extremeties, emaciation ami general debility, dis
turbed rest, a sense of pressure and heat at the
stomach after eating, night mare, great mental
despondency, severe (lying pains in the chest, back ;
and sides, coslifeness, involuntary sighing and
weeping, languor and lassitude upon the least ex
ercise. Mr Salmon had applied lo the most emi
nent physicians, who considered it beyond the
power of medicine to restore him lo health; howe
ver, as Ina afflictions bad reduced him lo a very
deplorable condition, and having been rocommi Ti
ded by a relative of Ins to make a trial of Dr Wm.
Evans’ medicine, he with difficulty repaired to
the office and procured a package, to w hich he j
says,) he is indebted for Ins restoration lo life,
health and friends. He is now enjoying all the |

Sc.nven county, Ga. The> have extensive quar
ries of Li iteslono, which is considered hy profes
sor ,1 K Colling, Slate Geologist, to whom 1 lie
proprietors are indebted for tho information
which induced them to embark in the undertaking,
to he of I lie very purest kind. They have conse
quently erected largo and substantial Kilns in
the most approved manner, and procured men
from the North who are perfectly acquainted with
ihe business. A portion ol (ho Lime is now in
market and has been pronounced hy the principal
builders iu the neighborhood of Augusta, and
others, to ho of excellent quality. Thu subscri
bers take pleasure in inviting those who take on
interest in tho developemenl of the internal resour
ces ol Georgia, to examine it, being convinced that
tho whole Hulled States cannot produce a more
beautiful article.
They have now a quantity on hand, which ihey
will deliver at the inuiilli of Brier Creek on ihe
Savannah river, or at Augusta. J laving extensive
preparations in progress, they expect to he able
during the next winter and spring to supply or
ders in a very large amount; and they have every
reason to believe that they wall entitle themselves
io the favor and patronage of the public hy pro
ducing a cheaper and bolter article at home than
can he found abroad.
