Dear Sir—fn the month of December, 1324, being
at St. Anvils, province of Upper Canada, I taught a
cold which soon settled into a liver; at the same
lime I had a most distressing cough, and a very so
vore pain in my left s 4e. I applied to seterul emi
nent Physicians in Lcwistown, Niagara co who
treated me for tho Liver Complaint—but without
success. 1 grow worse every day, and 1 though' 1
should soon bo called to appear butbru the great *T

In the month Os March; 1825,1 applied to skilful
Physicians in Onuida county, who treated me also
Ibrthe Liver Complaint, without any essential ben
efit. Iwi nt afterwards to Now York, in hopes that
change ol climate and diet and new scenes might
possibly restore tne to health ; and indeed a slay of a
lew months there enabled me to renew my trade 1
was not cured; however, lor from the time I was
sick, until very lately, 1 was often distressed hy a
pain in my left sida, want of appetite, indigestion,
and a general d.presiintt of spirits. Last October)
was induced to lake "Dr. Koboris’s Welch Medtcn
momum," prepared by yourself, and I feel grateful
that 1 am able Instate that after having used one pint
snd a half, the pain in my side has entirely subsided.
1 have regained my appetite, and my general health
has been so far restored that I have not felt to well
