Wheeler County Eagle
VYOLUMRE &
HATS OFFI 10 THE
WHEELER CQUNTY GIRLS
They are Not Only Working for the Piano
But to Advertise Wheeler County
And The Eagle. _
Alamo, the name that means
so much to the patriotic Texan,
and incidentally to the citizens
of Wheeler county, is being
splendidly advertised by the at
tractive girls of Wheeler, in their
friendly fight for the piano, which
will be given to the fair con
testant, who secures the most
subscriptions to the Wheeler
County Eagle. ;
Hats oft! to the girls of Wheeler
who are doing such effective
advertising for the new county.
It is only justice to those ener
getic young women to say that
on entering this wonderful vote
getting campaign, that each
stated that if they failed to get
the piano, they would at least be
helping the county paper, which
they recognize as the most
powerful factor in the upbuild
ing of a town and county,
It is hoped that every tax
payer in the county will subscribe
for their heme paper, for it is
necessary for each of them to
keep up with the legal advertise
ments which includes sheriff’
sales, citations, tax notices, etc.,
as well social affairs. e
Every parent should see to it
that the Eagle mskes its weekly
visit to the home. To keep up
with the happenings of the day,
it is necessary to have the home
paper. Subsecribe through your
favorite contestant. Show them
that your heart is in the right
place, and when it comes to
patriotism don’t let the girls of
Wheeler county beat you at the
game.
