Pins-Boron Una In Ulrnrd.
On Sunday, about 11 o'clock, the prop
erly of Mr. Bob Forsyth, in Girard, was
fired by an iuoandiary in two plnaee. A
giu house, filled with hay and fodder, was
entirely ooniutued, together with n shed
containing some $6110 of wagons and
wagon material, and $600 of lumber. In
addition to this, Mr. Forsyth lost fire
hundred bushels of sweet potatoes whioh
wars baked in Ibe bank. Tha firs pre
sented a brilliant appearance, as seen
from thin side of tba river. Both houses
were fired at tba same time, and roofs
were falling in when owner of property
was awaked. Mr. Forsyth estimates his
loss at $4,000—$!l,000 of whioh was cot-
•red in aa insurance oumpany represented
by Dr. Win. P. Turner. The property
was located on the creek in Oirnrd.

follows; Tha two brothers, M. L. and
B. F. Baglay, had been very disorderly,
ware either drunk or putting draak on,
aud carting offleers bitterly. Offloer Dan-
oen had bean compelled to olub one of
them Mat inmmer in order to arrest him
for a flagrant violation of Mw, and they
wanted to show what they oould do. Tha

phy was trying to get them to leave town
and direeted tba polioemen to do the
same. At last, they were gotten
on their horses, and started ofl cursing
bitterly. Tba officers stood at tha oorner

menced their awful profanity again.

his bosom and fired at Morphy. The

Mr. J. J. Bradford witnessed the firing
from the Oonrt House steps.
Tha doctors testified deceased received
two wonndt—one entered below tha
shoulder blade and cams oat jut above
tha breastbone near the neck, tha other was
lower and nearer tha backbone. Both
ware in tha book. Either would have
killed.
When asked on inquest if ha fired at M.
L. Baglay, offloer MoEachren declined to
answer.

charged with being accessory to tha mur
der, who is now in jail, takas place this
morning at ten o'oloek, at tha Court
Houe, baton Judge Johnson of tha Hn-
prame Court. Tba warrants were sworn
out yesterday. Thornton A Grimes and
Williams A Williams rapraaant tha de-
feuoe; Solicitor General Little, City At
torney Charles Coleman and Peabody A
Brannon represent the State, eity and
p -oontion.
On tha inquest no attempt was mads to
gat at more than tha main faot.

M. W. Murphy, City Marshal of Oqtaaa-

time, died Sunday afternoon about five
o’oloek, from lha affute of the pistol shot
of one M. L. Bagley, who M also in hia

tal murder. Shortly after being shot,
while reclining in the arms of frienda, ba
