MRS. NOBLE’S BRIDGE PARTY.
Mrs. B«n F. Noble, of Montgomery,
entertained at a bridge party Wednes-
day afternoon at the home of her pa
rents. Mr. and Mrs. H. M. Patterson.
on West Peachtree street. In honor of
MISS Aline Patterson.
The house was effectively decorated
W lth white and yellof chrysanthemums
an d the score cards and Ices carried
out the same color scheme.
The prises were a handsome veil
pin and an embroidered collar and
handkerchief. The guest of honor was
given a pair of silk hose.
Mrs. Noble wore a becoming gown
of light blue silk net made over silk.
Miss Patterson was gowned in pale
blue radium, trimmed with ‘ princesse
lace and embroidered In gold. She
wore a hat of blue, trimmed with

pair of silk hose, and the guest of hon.

black tafTeta trimmed with lace.
Miss Gude's toilet was blue silk.
Miss Garrett wore a green broad
cloth suit and a black satin hat trim

Tuesday evening at 8 o’clock at Fort
Valley, Miss Pearle Jones was mar
ried to Mr. CllfTord H. Prator In the
presence of a large and representative
assemblage of friends and relatives.
The first bridesmaid was Miss Mary
Williams, of Talladega, Ala., the other
bridesmaids being Misses Mamie Mil
ler, Janie Culpepper, Eugenia Riley,
Meeta McDonald, Louise McDonald,
Kula Prator and Nolle Carter.
The ushers wore Messrs. W. F. Mil
ler, R S. Braswell, Sidney McWilliams
and Glenmore Greene.
