Under and by virtue of the Power of
Sale contained in a Security Deed
given by Danny Hawk and Janie M.
Hawk to Nationsbanc Mortgage Cor
poration, dated October 1,1997, and
recorded in Deed Book 9651, Page
617, DeKalb County, Georgia Re
cords, as last transferred to Bank of
America, N.A. by assignment recor
ded on June 21, 2010 in Book 22013
Page 614 in the Office of the Clerk of
Superior Court of DeKalb County,
Georgia Records, conveying the
after-described property to secure a
Note in the original principal amount
of Eighty-Nine Thousand and 0/100
dollars ($89,000.00), with interest
thereon as set forth therein, there will
be sold at public outcry to the highest
bidder for cash before the court
house door of DeKalb County, Geor
gia, within the legal hours of sale on
September 2, 2014, the following de
scribed property:
All that tract or parcel of land lying
and being in Land Lot 169 of the 15th
District of DeKalb County, Georgia,
and being more particularly de
scribed as follows:
Beginning at an iron pin marking the
intersection of the extension of the
center line of long drive (50 foot right-
of-way) and the present North dead
end of said street; running thence
West One Hundred Ninety-Nine and
Nine-Tenths (199.9) feet to an iron
pin; running thence due North Two
Hundred Eight (208) feet to an iron
pin located 200 feet due South of the
intersection of the present West line
above mentioned and the South side
of Glenwood Road, which point is
located 399.9 feet West of the inter
section of the South side of Glen
wood Road and the East line of Land
Lot 169; running thence East Two
Hundred (200) feet to an iron pin;
running thence South Two Hundred
Four and Four-Tenths (204.4) feet to
an iron pin and the point of begin
ning; same being improved property
with a house thereon, known as 1849
long drive according to the present
system of numbering houses in
DeKalb County, Georgia.
The debt secured by said Security
Deed has been and is hereby de
clared due because of, among other
possible events of default, failure to
pay the indebtedness as and when
due and in the manner provided in
the Note and Security Deed. The
debt remaining in default, this sale
will be made for the purpose of pay
ing the same and all expenses of this
sale, as provided in Security Deed
and by law, including attorney’s fees
(notice of intent to collect attorney’s
fees having been given).

sion of the property is Danny Hawk or
tenant(s); and said property is more
commonly known as 1849 Long
Drive, Decatur, GA 30032.
The sale will be conducted subject to
(1) confirmation that the sale is not
prohibited under the U.S. Bankruptcy
