NOTICE TO BIDDERS
The City of Decatur will receive
sealed bids for ++LMIG 2015 Milling,
Pavement Repair and Street Resur
facing improvements for various
streets++ until 10:00 a.m. on
Thursday, July 9, 2015 in the City
Commission room at Decatur City
Hall, 509 North McDonough Street,
Decatur, Georgia, at which time and
place all bids will be publicly opened
and read aloud. This work includes,
but is not limited, furnishing and per
forming 1-1/2” asphalt milling, 4 inch
asphalt patching, 6 inch asphalt deep
patching with base course and sub
grade repair, as required, asphalt
deep patching repair of concrete
streets, tack oil application, 1-1/2” as
phalt surface friction course installa
tion, hauling and disposal of all milled
and excavated materials, installation
of temporary paint and permanent
thermoplastic pavement markings,
speed tables, curb cut ramps and in
stallation and maintenance of work
zone traffic control. The Contractor
shall be responsible for supplying all
labor, materials and equipment and
all else necessary for the timely com
pletion of the listed Projects.
Prior to beginning construction the
successful bidder will file with the City
the required Bonds, Certificate of In
surance and other applicable docu
ments as outlined in the General
Conditions with the terms and surety
to be approved by the City.
The City reserves the right to reject
any and all bids and to waive formal
ities in bidding.
Bids are to be submitted on a proper
form furnished by the City and shall
be addressed to the City Manager,
City Hall, 509 North McDonough
