DUNWOODY
Outdoor concert scheduled
The city of Dunwoody will hold, Groovin'on the Green
June 16 from 6 to 7 p.m. at Pernoshal Park, 4575 N.
Shallowford Road. The concert features Darlington
Road, an Atlanta-based band playing a variety of cover
songs from Chris Stapleton and Michael Jackson to
Hall and Oates,The Commodores and others.
CPR/AED classes offered
Dunwoody Police Department will host two CPR/
AED classes on June 9 and June 16.
Both classes will take place from 9 a.m. to noon at
Dunwoody City Hall - Georgetown Conference Room,
second floor, 4800 Ashford Dunwoody Road.
The cost of the class will be $20 (cash only), payable
at the start of the class. Participants must be at least
12 years of age and residents of Dunwoody. Space is
limited to 10 participants per class.
Dunwoody Police Department will use the American
Heart Association's Heartsaver CPR/AED course.
Each class participant will receive an AHA CPR/AED
certification card upon completion of the course. The
class will cover adult and infant CPR, as well as AED
training. According to a news release, the course is
ideal for schools, students, new parents, grandparents,
babysitters and others interested in learning howto
save a life.
Participants will receive a participant manual and
practice valve for use during class.
STONECREST
Gentle yoga class scheduled
Stonecrest Library will host a gentle yoga class June 16
from 11 a.m. to noon.The session, which will be taught
by Marsha Needham, is a blend of hatha yoga (physical
discipline), pranayama (breath control) and meditation
(awareness). Attendees must bring their own yoga mat.
The class is open to the first 10 participants.The library
is located at 3123 Klondike Road. For more information,

STONE MOUNTAIN
Free concert to be held
The Garrett Collins Project will perform June 15 at
Stone Mountain's Tunes by theTrack series. The free
concert will be held at 922 Main Street near the gazebo
from 7 to 9 p.m. For more information, visit www.

TUCKER
Park to host butterfly release
Friends of Kelley Cofer Park will host its second annual
butterfly release June 9. Dozens of butterflies will
be released into the pollinator garden around 4 p.m.
Attendees can visit the Peach Pit and check out the
newly improved pool. King of Pops will also be there
selling pops. Kelley Cofer Park is located at 4259 N. Park

The City of Brookhaven City Council does hereby invite all concerned citizens to the following public hearings regarding a tax increase
and subsequent adoption of its millage rate for 2018. The public hearings will be held at Brookhaven City Hall, 4362 Peachtree Road.
The first public hearing will be held at 7:00 p.m. on June 12, 2018. The second and third public hearings will be held on June 28, 2018.
The second hearing is at 10:30 a.m., with the third public hearing held at 6:30 p.m.
The City of Brookhaven City Council does hereby announce that the millage rate will be set at a meeting to be held at the
Brookhaven City Hall on June 28, 2018 at 7:00 p.m. and pursuant to the requirements of O.C.G.A. Section 48-5-32 does
hereby publish the following presentation of the current year's tax digest and levy, along with the history of the tax digest and
levy for the past five years.
