The Bonds are the limited obligation
of the Authority and do not constitute
a general obligation of the State of

are the Bonds payable in any man
ner by taxation, but are payable
solely from the payments made by
the Borrower, pursuant to an agree
ment between the Authority and the

Notice is hereby given in compliance
with Georgia Code 22-2-109 and 32-
3-5 that the Georgia Department of
Transportation has approved the Loc
ation and Design of this project.
The date of location and design ap
proval is: June 14, 2018.
This project is located along I-285
from the I-675 northbound exit ramp
bridge over I-285 to just west of the I-
285 bridge over Sugar Creek. The
project is 100% in DeKalb County
and Congressional District 7, and is
located in Land District 15.
The proposed project will reconstruct
the I-285 interchange at Boulder
crest Road. The project will include a
collector-distributor roadway system
between the I-675/I-285 interchange
and the l-285/Bouldercrest Road in
terchange. On Bouldercrest Road,
the project will extend from approxim
ately 220’ south of Sugar Creek Golf
Drive to approximately 525’ north of
Continental Way. On I-285, the
project will extend from the I-675
northbound exit ramp bridge over I-
285 to just west of the I-285 bridge
over Sugar Creek.
The reconstruction of the I-
285/Bouldercrest Road interchange
will require replacing the existing
Bouldercrest Road bridge over I-285.
The new bridge will have six 12-foot
travel lanes (two southbound through
lanes, two southbound left-turn lanes
and two northbound through lanes),
6-foot sidewalks on both sides and 4-
foot wide bicycle lanes on both sides.
North of the interchange, Boulder
crest Road will transition to the exist
ing 5-lane section north of Continent
al Way. A loop ramp will be intro
duced in the northeast quadrant of
the interchange to handle north
bound to westbound movements and
the westbound exit ramp from I-285
to Bouldercrest Road will be re
aligned to allow direct access to Con
tinental Way. South of the inter
change, Bouldercrest Road will trans
ition to two 12-foot wide travel lanes
(one lane in each direction). White
hall Forest Court will be relocated
and its current intersection with
Bouldercrest Road will be closed.
Turn lanes will be provided on
Bouldercrest Road as required. The
existing traffic signals on Boulder
crest Road at the south ramp inter
section and Continental Way will be
upgraded. The existing traffic signal
at the north ramp intersection will be
eliminated with the introduction of the
loop ramp in the northeast quadrant.
The total length of the project is ap
proximately 0.5 miles along Boulder
crest Road and approximately 1.9
miles along I-285. The entire project
is within DeKalb County, Georgia.
