on every subject without prejudice or
quibble. The book is a store house of

from the point of biography, history,
bibliography, art, criticism, the sacred
scriptures or the church of every name
and in all the ages, is of inestimable
worth. It ought to be in all church and
public libraries; in easy reach of those
intelligently interested in the religions

Bledsoe, of the University of Virginia, assistant
secretary of war of the Confederate
states, and a noted writer on religious
subjects; Rev. Drs. John and R.
J. Breckinridge, Presbyterian ministers
and writers in Kentucky; Rev. Dr. John
A. Broadus, of the Raptist Church in
Virginia, South Carolina and Kentucky;
