"While there are but few Presbyterian-families
living out here, they keep moving into
this section. What we now need is a
nice church building in order to draw that
class of people which are moving out
here. When moving out there, they lost
many of the old members, as it was too
far from home for them to attend church.
About ten of the old members came out
there, so they had a nucleus of ten active
members to begin with; since that, thirty-eight
have Joined our church; about
ten of these on profession of faith. The
church has recently purchased a beautiful
lot on the corner of Highland and
Blue Ridge avenues, 95 feet by 237, on
which they are in hopes of erecting a
church building in the near future. They
have recently changed the name from
Fourth Presbyterian Church to that of
Druid Park Presbyterian Church. The
locality of the lot which they have* purchased
near Druid Hill avenue is ideal;
the neighborhood is growing; and the
promise of church growth is good. We
bespeak help for these earnest workers
to erect at least a chapel for immediate
use. It must be worthy of its surroundings.

principal address, his subject being "Jesus

much enjoyed. A solo by Mrs. G. S. Hales
was charmingly rendered, and "I was a
