this office until his death on Sunday,
February 13, 1910, then nearly sixty-four
years of age. His brethren always relied
upon his diligence and efficiency
in their church courts, and the Dastors
of the church were supported by his
sympathy and counsel. He was ever
solicitous of the well-being of every
member of the church with whom he had
iriendly intercourse. May we all strive
to emulate his well known Christian life,
lor his graces and fidelity to this church
pervaded his life. Henry S. Baker,
Clerk Pro-tem.
MRS. ELIZA MclNNIS^ McCALLUM.
Was born in Green County, Miss.,
December 4, 1825, and died of pneumonia,
on February 17, 1910, at the home of
her daughter, Mrs. J. W. Griffin, of
Moss Point, Miss. She was married in
April, 1848, to Malcolm McCallum, of
Perry County, Miss., and soon after her
inarriage united with Shiloh Presbyterian
church, of which she continued to
be a consistent and useful member until
summoned to transfer her membership
from the Church militant to the Church
triumphant. The community in which
the active period of her life was spent
can testify as to her many ministrations
of love, and the ministers of various
denominations, who always found
a cordial welcome awaiting them under
her hospitable roof, had good reason to
rise up and call her blessed. As during
the autumn of life she ripened into a
beautiful old age; it could be said of
uer uiai " sne came to ner grave in a
full age, like as a shock of corn cometh
in, in its season," and the end found
her exemplifying the beautiful statement
of the wise man of "Holy Writ" that
"the hoary head is a crown of glory, if
it be found in the way of righteousness."
Her work being finished, she fell
asleep in Jesus as peacefully as one
who 'wraps the drapery of their couch
about them and lies down to pleasant
dreams."
"Life's duty done, as sinks the clay,
Light from its load, the spirit tiles,
While heaven and earth, combine to say,
How blest the righteous when he dies.'"

"I cotild not lie on either side, my
heart fluttered, and I was so weak I
could scarcely walk. Dr. MilesHeart
Remedy did wonders for me.
I can sleep, eat, and do more work
than I have in ten years."
AGNES LEWIS, Lawrence, Kans.
Short, quick breath?when going
up stairs, singing, or when you are
angry or excited means that your
heart action is weak.
Dr. Miles' Heart Remedy
is a safe, sure remedy for these
symptoms. It strengthens and
builds up the weakened nerves and
muscles.
The first bottle will benefit; If not,
your druggist will return your money.
