"Little Ten-Minutes," or A Pastor's
Talks With His Children. By Rev. Frank
T. Bayley, D. D. Published by Fleming
H. Revell Co., New York. Price $1.
Preaching to children is one of the
most difficult experiences of the ordinary
pastor. Probably the next most difficult
cApentruut; is 10 una neipiui suggestions
for such preaching.
Dr. Bayley has given us a book that
will prove very helpful to preachers by
way of suggestion; to Sunday School
teachers, giving many helpful illustrations
of truth; and to parents, providing
them with readings for their children
that will be interesting and instructive.
These little talks seem to come directly
from a great heart filled with love to
God and love for children, and are suited
to reach the child heart, and sow in it
the seeds of love.
"The Fundamentals; A Testimony of
the Truth." Vol. I. Pp. 12S. Chicago:
Testimony Publishing Company, 808 LaSalle
avenue, 1910.
This bopk is the first of a series designed
for free circulation among pastors,
evangelists, theological students and
others. The expense of it is borne by
two liberal, consecrated laymen who
withhold their names. The present volume
embraces six chapters, all of them
dealing .n the most scholarly yet popular
fashion with the fundamentals of the
Christian faith and upholding the simple
truth of God's word with power. "The
Virgin Birth of Christ" is treated by Dr.
James Orr, of Glasgow; "The Deity of
Christ," by Dr. Warfield, of Princeton;
"The Purposes of the Incarnation," by
Dr. G. Campbell Morgan, of London;
"The Personality and Deity of the Holy
Spirit," by Dr. Torrey; "The Proof of the
Diving God," by Dr. Arthur T. Pierson,
and "History of the Higher Criticism,"
by Canon Dyson Hague, of Canada. A
work of "Personal Testimony" is added
by Howard A. Kelly, M. D., a Baltimore
physician and surgeon of note as a scientist
and thinker. The whole of the little
volume is a powerful testimony to the
truth of God's word.

MH8. C. G. BENNETT, Alma, Mich.
These diseases have been cured in
so many instances, that we do not
think there is any longer any doubt
that they are curable diseases.
Being nervous diseases they yield
to the soothing and strengthening
influence of
Dr. Miles' Nervine.
Though stubborn, persistent treatment
is almost sure to effect a cure
by restoring nervous energy.
