bunker llill and Tubler: Tabler is
an ohBnoot from Bunker Hill and not
yet a separate organization. V\e have
there a beautilul new building and a
Sunday school of about seventy, although
it has not been organized quite
a year. Rev. S. K. Bhhlips, of Berryville.
came to Bunker Hill on November
20th, and preached a week. Houne
prayer meetings bad been held and
tbe people seemed prepared. Tbe interest
was deep from tbe start. Tbe
preaching was convincing and moving.
.Mr. Phillips also made tbe services
more impressive by his sweet singing
of the gospel. Eighteen confessed Christ
during the meeting and three others
afterwards. Immediately at tbe close
of this meeting tbe pastor began
preaching at Tabler and contiued for
nine days, having help for two nights
from Dr. Lacy of Winchester and Mr.
McCurdy, tbe Baptist minister of Mar
tinsburg. There will be six added to
the church from this meeting. Nearly
all who professed Christ in these meetings
came from the Sunday school'
The teachers and parents deserve much

Gassnuay: We have recently been
greatly blessed by God In a series of
meetings held In the Davis Memorial
church at Gassaway, at which the acting
pastor was assisted by Rev. C. W.
McDunald, of Hutonsville, W. Va?
Thero were seven conversions; six of
these united with the church, three of
whom were heads of families. It was
a right touching scene when a mother
was baptized with bjr Ave little children.
There were also two other
motners who on uniting with the
church had their children baptised.
Mr. McDanAld certainly presented the
gospel truth with no uncertain sound
and he has greatly endeared himself to
nil our people.
Buttons There were Ave who united
by letter with our church at Sutton last
Sabbath. December 10th. Three of
these from Presbyterian churche* and
