CLUB MEMBERS PLEASED.
The following letter from Mrs. Jeff
Dobbs of Atlanta, is a fair sample of
the many commendatory letters that
are being received by Ludden & Bates
relative to the Presbyterian of the
South Piano Club. Mrs. Dobbs, a musician
of ability, writes: "1 am exceedingly
well pleased with the club piano
recently purchased from you, and being
a musician, believe I am in position to
judge as to the character of this instrument.
1 wish to state that 1 originally
selected a $550 piano which it
was my purpose to purchase, but before
closing the trade, 1 happened to
try a Ludden & Bates Club Piano which
pleased me more than the &550 piano
referred to. Consequently 1 saw no

I could purchase one even more satisfactory
at $297. and 1 selected the
Ludden & Bates Club, and feel today
that have as good a piano as I would
have had if I had purchased the other
one mentioned."

Cornmeal Musli With Kuisins.
Put one quart of water on to boil
in top of a double boiler; when boiling
add 1 1-2 cups of yellow cornmeal, stirring
slowly until it thickens. Add one
teaspoonful of salt and cover; boil
slowly for two hours, then add one half
cup of seeded raisins which have been
washed. Serve with milk. Put the
cornmeal on the night before and leave
on the stove.
Oatmeal with Dates.
To each cup of uncooked oatmeal add
one cup of dates, washed and the stones
removed, and cut small. In preparing
this we need no sugar to sweeten, as
they are sweet enough and a very pleasant
change; also very wholesome.?

water to make a stiff paste. Then
put the dough on a floured board and
roll into a very thin sheet?it should be

oven on a floured pan. The wafers
should have an uneven surface and be
eaten cold. They are delicious with a
conserve or jam.?Newark News.
