CLUB MEMBERS PLEASED.
The following letter from Mrs. Jeff
Dobbs of Atlanta, is a fair sample of
the many commendatory letters that
are being received by Ludden & Bates
relative to the Presbyterian of the
South Piano Club. Mrs. Dobbs, a musician
of ability, writes: "1 am exceedingly
well pleased with the club piano
recently purchased from you, and being
a musician, believe 1 am in position to
judge as to the character of this instrument.
1 wish to state that 1 orig

was my purpose to purchase, but before
closing the trade, 1 happened to
try a Ludden & Bates Club Piano which
pleased me more than the $u50 piano
referred to. Consequently I saw no
use to invest so large an amount when
I could purchase one even more satisfactory
at $297, and 1 selected the
L>udden & Bates Club, and feel today
that have as good a piano as 1 would
have had if 1 had purchased the other
one mentioned."

Butter a smooth saucepan, break as
many eggs as will be needed into a
saucer, one by one; if found strictly
fresh, slip each into the saucepan. No
broken yolks must be allowed, nor must
they be ciowded so as to risk breaking
the yolk after they are in. Put a small
piece of butter on each and sprinkle
with pepper and salt. Set in a wellheated
oven, bake till the whites are

Cormneul Mush With Haisins.
Put one quart of water on to boil
in top of a double boiler; when boiling
add 1 1-2 cups of yellow cornmeal, stirring
slowly until it thickens. Add one
teaspoonful of salt and cover; boil

on the stove.
Oatmeal with Dates.
To each cup of uncooked oatmeal add
one cup of dates, washed and the stones
removed, and cut small. In preparing
this we need no sugar to sweeten, as
they are sweet enough and a very pleasant
change; also very wholesome.?

water to make a stiff paste. Then
put the dough on a floured board and
roll into a very thin sheet?it should be
