The Business Committee reported that
Messrs. E. F. Leatham and Company
of Memphis, Tenn., expert accountants,
had been employed and had completed
the work of examining the condition of
the treasurer's ofllce, and of auditing
the books to the first of January. Their
report commended the treasurer's office
for the accurate and faithful handling
of the funds and made certain suggestions
with reference to methods of
keeping of accounts, which will be
adopted as soon as practicable.
The Treasurer's Report was received
and adopted and ordered to be published
in a separate communication.
The Senior Secretary and the Chair,
man were appointed to attend a special
v>uuierence on unina of the Mission
Boards of the United States and Canada,
to be held in New York on February
29th.
The usual routine business was transacted
and the Committee adjourned to
meet on the 3econd Tuesday in March.
