The Fall IIomc-Makiug Mont
How different homes are! And how easily they
may be transformed, ? merely by the changing of
Furnishings!
What wonders may be wrought with an added
Rug, a soft Pillow, or two, for the Davenport, a new
set of Draperies or an extra piece of Furniture which
will add to one's comfort and convenience.
Home Furnishings Sections at Miller & Rhoads
are rich with suggestions for adding the little touches
that make the word "house" mean HOME, and with
more favorable prices.
Like forest and field, the whole store
is again assuming its autumn hue. With
its superior showings of New Merchan
dise, and unique service, no spot is s?
delightfully interesting to visitors.

D.), sent clothing and shoes to
the suffering Reformed and Pres
byterians on the continent of Eu
rope. Their appeal last fall was an
swered by scores of churches as far
west as California and as far south
as Georgia and Texas. As a result,
about $2,000 was received for trans
portation. The committee sent about
live tons ( 10,000 pounds) of cloth
ing, etc., to Vienna, Bratislava, Po
land and Lithuania. They expect in
the near future to repeat their ap
peal to the churches, as Vienna is
still in great need as are the Hun
garians in Czecho-Slovakia and Buda
pest. Many of the pastors and also
the poor of the congregations have
been clothed. Many expressions of
thankfulness have come to the com
mittee from abroad. Donations sent
to the American-European Transpor
tation Co., 4 0 North Water Street,
Philadelphia, Pa., and marked for
"Presbyterian and Reformed Relief,*'
will be promptly sent to Europe. Let
us be obedient to the injunction of
the great Apostle Paul, "To do good
to all men, especially unto those who
are of the household of faith." Many
of our churches are helping every
other cause, but are forgetting the
suffering brethren of their own faith
in Europe and letting some of them
well-nigh starve.

Constipation
Relieved Without the Use
of Lc:;ctlves
Nujol is a lubricant ? not a
mcdicine or laxative ? so
cannot gripe.
When you are constipated,
not enough of Nature's
lubricating liquid is pro
duced in the bowel to keep
the food waste soft and
moving. Doctors prescribe
Nujol because
it acts like
this natural
lubricant and
thus replaces
it. Try it to
