A Notable Wedding on Last
» Evening
OF PROMINENT PEOPLE.
Capt. R. G. Clark and Miss
Daisy King Made One.
Both of Rome.
The marriage of Capt 1 R. G. Clark and
Mis* Daisy King occurred last night at 8
o’clock, and many of their friends braved
the disagreeable leather, comfortably
filling the Presbyterian church, where
the ceremony was performed.
The wedding was simple in every de
tail, and its very simplicity gave it an air
of impressive elegance.
By 7:30 o’clock people began arriving
the church, and from then until 8 they

As they took their places on either side
of the pulpit Captain Clark and Miss
King started down the right aisle, while
little Miss Sadie King, niece of the bride,
pretty and charming in her empress
gown of pink, and powdered hair, went
down the left. The bride was in pure
white, a gown of glistening satin with
immaculate veil and a handsome boquet
of exquisite white roses. A becom

the couple as they slowly walked

MISS LILLIAN LEWIS COMING.
Migs Lillian Lewis Will Present “Credit Lor
ralne” and “Good-bye, Sweetheart.”
Miss Lillian Lewis has brought out an
idyllic romance and at the same time a
pure genre picture play. It is called
"Good-bye, Sweetherrt.” It shows that
that there are placid possibilities in
drama wbioh unalloyed romanticism has
not touched. The whole of the play
moves in an atmosphere that is new, and
fetches with gentle efficacy some potent
natural emotions into view that lay hold
of the sensibilities with a tendril soft
ness.
Miss Lewis will present this play at
Nevin’s next Monday night, and will give
"Credit Lorraine” at a matinee on the
same day.
