, first intended. The details are given in
the following statement by the superin

j The Sunday schools of the First

carry them to Silver Creek, via the C.

Two separate special coaches will be

may be avoided
Any one desiring to purchase tickets

CURE FOR HEADACHE.
As a remedy for all forms of Headache
Electric Bitters has proved to be the
very best. It effects a permanent cure
and the most dreaded habitual sick
headaches yield to its influence. We
urge all who are afflicted to procure a
bottle, and give this remedy a fair trial.
In cases of habitual constipation Electric
Bitters cures by giving the needed tone
of the bowels, and few cases long resist
the use of this medicine. Try it once.

A talk about Matting :
The importation for the
season of 1893 94 was
295,000 Rolls, being 3
times that of any previ
ous year. Over 100,000
Rolls were closed out at
auction from 30 to 50
per cent less than cost
of importation. Two
weeks ago we did not
have a roll of Matting
in our house. We have
secured 100 rolls bought
at 50 per cent less than
cost of importation, all
fresh newly made goods.
Old Matting is brittle
and will not wear.

THE FURNITURE FACTORY
Employs 120 Men and Has a Weekly Fay
Roll of 5750.
The furniture factory situated in North
Rome is of great bneefit to Rome and
the surrounding country. Its products
is a strong competitor of that turned out
by any similar institution in this coutry,
and furniture made in Rome finds a
ready market in all sections of the United
States. As a matter of fact their goods
are shipped to Grand Rapids Mich.,
where the largest furniture factories in
the world are situated. The weekly
pay roll now, includes 120 employees,
and aggregating the sum of §750 paid
ever; Sa urday to the labor, the greater
portion of which sum is spent with the
merchants in the city. As soon as the
new buildings are finished and the
facilities are increased the factory will
give steady employment to 150 men, and
the weekly pay roll will exceed §I,OOO.
If this factory can operate steadily
through the dull summer season, and
declare fair dividends, it is a strong
argument in favor of establishing other
industries in Rome.
