Pieces of Bone Came Out.
Last February I had to take my bed for four
weeks, and then it was I began to take Hood's
Sarsaparilla. I soon got on my feet, but was
very weak and went to the Maryland University
hospital, where they said my trouble was chronlo

A talk about Matting :
The importation for the
season of 1893 94 was
295,000 Rolls, being 3
times that of any previ
ous year. Over 100,000
Rolls were closed out at
auction from 30 to 50
per cent less than cost
of importation. Two
weeks ago we did not
have a roll of Matting
in our house. We have
secured 100 rolls bought
at 50 per cent less than
costbf importation, all
fresh newly made goods

“Advertising is Ir n to tho Blood!”
SO SAID, but it is true only when you have something to say—not a
mere employment of sapless words —a repetition of an oft-told tale.
A syllabled truth: When we advertise we think we have some
thing to say. If we fail to do it, the fault is with us, not the
subject.
Another word about the Flemister goods—the large stock of fine
merchandise recently bought in Griffin from the court officer and
shipped to Rome, and the Parks goods. We confess to a business
policy—all business people must have it. The season of the year
made it our policy to put forward the heavy weight goods first,
Holding in Reserve the Light Weights
AS LONG as possible' Cannct do it longer. These days of frisky
Mercury call out the sheer and light fabrics. The buyers of the

that the year is about all summer. So large a collection of dress

the discount made in the bulk purchases. It’s a matchless oppor
