The man whose lite ami ener
gies are devoted to the relict ol
human suffering deserves a
grander monument than he who
conquers kingdoms and builds
up great empires.
Such a man is Dr. B. M.
Wollev, who has been tor twenty
live \ ears engaged in the noble
work of alleviating and rescuing
people from degradation and the
jaws of death. His work will
live alter him and his name w ill
endure tor the good he has ac
complished in this glorious cause.
When he began, in a small w ay.
the treatment of the opium and
whiskv habits, of which he has
made a life-long study, he never
dreamed ol the magnitude to
which his future work would at
tain, but his success brought
with it constant encouragement,
until todav thousands of men
ami women throughout the
length and breadth of the land
rise up and call him blessed.
Tour years ago he became as
sociated with others under the
name of The B. M. Wollev Com
pany. and today their business
at 104'. Whitehall street, At
lanta. Ga., where they are ele
gantly located, has grown to
mammoth proportions. Dr.
Wollev has w ith him Dr. F. L.
Dennis, in the medical depart
ment, a gentleman who has made
an extensive study of the sub
jects in hand, and a complete
corps of assistants to look after
he business details, who are
Kept busy all the time answering
correspondence ami looking
after the various branches of the
business.
His treatment is based on
logical and scientilic principles,
and is successful in everv in
stance where it is followed up
till a cure is effected. Volumes
might be Idled with certificates
and endorsements from everv
section of the country attesting
to the benefits derived from the
treatment.
Some of them are pathetic in
their expressions of' gratitude
and thankfulness lor what has
been done lor them by the great
remedial agent, the Wolley
Opium and AVhiskey Cure.
Men and women who have
been brought right down to the
lining of’destruction through the
effects of opium and whiskev
have been cured, redeemed, re
stored to their families and to a
life of usefulness and happiness.
Many men are today occupying
positions of honor and trust who
had descended to the very dregs
of human depravity through the
baleful eflects ol these accursed
drugs, and who would todav be
either dragging out a miserable
existence in the depths of degre
dation or Idling drunkard’s
graves, but for the saving power
ol these great remedies. And
still the grand work goes on
with increasing influence for
good as its virtues become more
widely disseminated.
It has been subjected to the
most careful analysis by the most
competent men, the most con
scientious investigation by the
press and the most critical tests
by the public at large and has
not been found wanting in a
single instance.
()ne of the beauties of the treat
ment is that it causes no shock
to the already enfeebled consti
tution, and leaves behind it none
of the deleterious eflects observed
in some treatments. It abso
lutely eradicates all taste and de
sire tor the use of stimulants or
opiates, builds up ami restores
the system to its normal condi
tion and leaves the man or
woman happy in the possession
of all the facilities of a healthy
human being.
The remedy is perfectly safe
and harmeless, it is reasonable
in price and during the course
tb.e patient begins to leel ef
fects from the start and is able
to go about the ordinary busi
ness or occupations of life with
out any inconvenience. The
improvement is gradual ami
continues very perceptibly until
the complete restoration of
health. Those who are unfor
tunate victims of the w hiskey or
opium habits, should not delay
in addressing Dr. B.M. Wolley,
Atlanta. Ga., and secure the
necessary information in regard
to this great treatment. Below
you will find certificates ol cure
from those who have held out
faithfully in the treatment.

Dr. />’. J/. II 'oollcv. Atlanta, da.
Mv Deak Silt:—l have re
commended your medicine to a
great many who have tried it
with success. I have never
heard of its failing in any in
stance. It cured me effectually
about four years ago after about
thirty years excessive drinking
of stimulants. I regard mv cure
as one of the strongest tests of
the virtue of vour medicine, be
cause my wife procured it at the
time and gave it to me in doses
according to directions, without
ever letting me know' what it
was or where it came from : and
I only took it to gratify her, un
aided, therefore, by any will
power of mv own or expecta
tion that it was to cure me : and
since taking the first dose of’
vour medicine I have never
tasted a stimulant of any kind,
nor have I had the slightest in
clination to do so.
You may use mv letter as
von see proper.
Aery truly and gratefully
yours,
AV. D. M iller.. Att'y at Law.
Has. Used no Opium or Whiskey Since
1892.-—A Physician’s Experience.
Sardis, Miss.,
Dr. />’. J/. IVaollcv. . lllanta, (nt.
Dear Sir : —Replying to yours
of May Sth, I will say that 1 have
not taken a drink of wine, w his
kev', cider or beer since Decem
ber ist. 1892, the day I began
the use of’ vour medicine, and
have no desire for drink of any
kind. As you are aw are, I was
also somewhat addicted to mor
phia. 1 am truly glad to say
that I have had no occassion to
take an anodyne of any kind
from then until now. Ido not
think I will ever resort again to
whiskey or morphia, if 1 retain
my present senses and surround
ings. lam f'uily satisfied with
vour treatment in both habits, if
backed up with a reasonable
amount of w ill power and desire
to quit their use. Mv general
health is as good as it ever was,
and in some respects better.
When I began the use of your
remedy I was a physical and
almost a mental wreck, but now
my body appears to be sound
and my mind as clear as ever,
and I think much wiser as re
gards the foolishness of drink
and opiates out of' place. 11 is to
be presumed that a man of mv
profession should know' some
thing of the evils of both, ami
and more especially when he has
gained his knowledge both from
theory and personal experience.
I never prescribe whiskey now,
and am very cautious as to the
use of opiates. You can rest
assured that I have no desire to

get any man into the clutches of
either; upon the contrary the
unfortunate victims, excite mv
tenderest sympathy and honest
desire to help them regain their
health. 1 have referred several
to you, ami have not heard of a
failure if it was fairly tried. As
you are aware, it is contrary to
our ethics to write testimonials
for secret remedies, but honesty
constrains me to say that vour
treatment has proven eminently
satisfactory in mv case, and I
feel it to be my duty to help you
in mv feeble way to treat others,
and lilt them from the mire of
destruction and place them upon
the solid rock of abstinence. And
now w ith success to you and vour
medicine, 1 beg to subscribe my
self as vour obedient servant.

Dr. 11. .17. lloollcv. Atlanta, (la.
Dear Sir :—You no doubt
think 1 am along time in letting
you hear from me, but I wanted
to wait a while after leaving off
vour treatment to be sure ol’ a
cure. I left it oil’ three weeks ago,
and thanks to you -and my God,
I am proud to tell you that I ton
once more a free and well woman.
Am in better health than I have
been for years : am satisfied had
it not been for you today, would
have been in my grave. 1 cannot
sav enough in behalf’ of your
treatment, and when I look at
mv children ami think of how
near they came to being orphans,
I shudder, and pray to God to
bless you and yours. 1 had no
trouble much in leaving off your
medicine. For a night or two I
could not go right oil to sleep,
but that soon passed oil’. Now.
Doctor, if this letter in my name
will do you any good you are
more than welcome to use it, for
I want to do von all I can for
you. May God keep and bless
you, Doctor, is my prayer.

The Greatest Medicine on Earth. Eradi
cates all Desire or Taste for Strong
Drink.
Sardis. ?diss.,
Dr. !>. .11. H oollev, Atlanta, (la.
1 )e \r Sir :—Your medicine is
emphatically the greatest remedy
on earth. It thoroughly accom
plishes its purpose. It complete
ly destroys and eradicates all
desire and taste for strong drink.
1 have been addicted to drinking
liquor since I was a youth and
often to excess with but short
intervals of cessation from the
habit, and during these intervals
of abstinence 1 had a constant
craving for some stimulating
drink. I am now over 50 years
of age. About eighteen months
ago I used nearly lour bottles
of your medicine, and since I
took the first dose I have not had
even the very slightest inclina
tion to take a drink of liquor ol
auv kind. I never think about
it. The idea never enters my
mind, and I know ol others who
have tried it with the same result.
\ ery truly yours,
AV. D. M IDLER.
Used One Bottle of Morphine in Six Days*
Wow Entirely Cured of the Habit.
N EW X AN. G A.
This is to certify that I have
been under the treatment ol Dr.
B. M. Woolev lor the habit ol
morphine. 1 went to 1 )r. W oollev
on the 21 st day of September.
1893. At that time I was using
one bottle of morphine every six
days for an old wound in the
head : though I could not live
without it. but at the same time
saw that it was last taking my
life from me. When 1 com
menced taking Dr. Woolley's
medicine I weighed ninety-six
pounds, and my life was no satis
faction to me, but in a short time
I saw' that the gloomy days were
passing away, and in seven
months I was entirely cured of
the morphine habit.
1 now weigh one hundred and
forty-six pounds and am in better
health, than I have been in five
years. I advise all persons in
the morphine habit to try Dr.
AVoolley. He can surely cure
you as he cured me.

I Have n<> Desire for Opium Now. I was
Confined to My Bed Eight Long Years,
but am Now Cured.
Lois, Ga.,
Dr. l>. M. Alool/cv. Atlanta, (la.
My Dear Sir:—lt is with
great pleasure that I attempt to
write you this morning. I desire
to express my sincere gratitude
to you for vour wonderful cure.
A’es, I am happy to tell you that
I am entirely cured of the dread
ful opium habit. Oh, that I
could find words to express my
feelings to you ; but. alas, pen
fails to describe or tongue to tell
of the joy that it is to me to know
that I am freed from an opium
grave. I w ish to say to you that
when I commenced vour treat
ment I would rather have been
dead than living, for 1 had been
confined to my bed for eight
long, weary years with rheuma
tism : could sit up but very
little, and could not stand on my
feet or rinse up or down in my
chair, or oil’ my bed. I had not
been out of my room during this
time, only when carried out in mv
chair or assisted by two persons.
During the eight years I was in
such an awful condition that 1
could not rest day or night, had
to be turned on a sheet every
five or ten minutes for a week or
two, when my physician thought
me to be in a dying condition ;
and to alleviate my sufferings
he gave me opium without mv
parents’ consent. 1 continued
to use it, not knowing the awful
condition it would put me in,
until I was the most miserable
person you ever saw. and had
despaired of ever being anything
but a trouble and drawback to
my dear family the rest of my
lite. And many nights have I
retired, w ishing that it could be
God's will for me never to rise
again in this life; that I was
tired of living and longed to go
and leave this world of trouble.
AVhen I had used it four years 1
got so bad oil' that 1 could not
stay on my bed : for six weeks
had to sit up day and night in a
rocker, could sleep but little.
Then 1 heard of Dr. B. M. AVool
lev’s grand opium cure, and
wrote to you with but little hopes
ol ewer being cured of the awful
habit. But, thanks be to God, I
soon got a reply, slating to me
that you thought you could cure
me. and I sent at once for 'a
month's treatment. 1 soon re
ceived the antidote and began
taking it according to directions,
feeling that. I would besure to die
when I quit the morphine and
opium, but I was determined not
to touch any kind ol stimulant
and that if 1 died it would be
right. So I set in w ith a resolu
tion to bear all that w as put upon
me. and then I weighed only
ninety pounds. I began to im
prove at once and in three months
I could get up out ol mv chair,
which I had not done in eight
years. I slept on mv bed the first
night and hail rest as good as any
one could wish. 1 could stand on
my feet slmost all day and work
the most of mv time. When I
had not worn a shoe (onh a rub
ber) in eight years, I now wear
them and they do not hurt me.
I now weigh one hundred and
twenty pounds anil gain strength
and weigh everv dav. Mv gen
eral health is better than it lias
been for twelve years. I took
vour antidote for one year. It
has now been seven months since
I stopped the treatment and 1
navi* no desire tor it or opium
either. I have not taken any
medicine since, anil I do not feel
now like I needed anything at
all.
I desire to beg you to excuse
me for not writing you sooner as
1 have been oft' from home for
some time on a visit, and when
at home it seems so good to be
so I can work until I neglect my
writing. I hope you do not
think that I intended to tell \<ui
a falsehood about giving you a
certificate. This was mv inten
tion when I began vour treat
ment —to give you the honor for
what your antidote did, if it cured
me; and J have not a doubt upon
my mind toila\ that 1 am cured
sound and well. There are so
many people who know how bad
ly afflicted 1 have been, anil also
such a slave to the opium habit,
that I desire (or them to know
that I am cured anil that it was
your treatment that did it. I can
not say enough in praise to you
for your wonderful medicine and
your kind attention while 1 have
been under your treatment. Oh.
that it could reach everv poor
suffering person on this earth,
lor surely it is all that von claim
for it, or at least, it has proven to
be in my case. I had been so I
could not lie on mv right side
lor eight years until I began vour
treatment, now I lie on it and
■rest all right. Doctor, il you
I think this will be of anv benefit
j to you you are at liberty to use it
‘in auv wav you wish. Oh, max
you long live to gladden the
I hearts and brighten the homes of
’ poor suffering humanity for sure
!ly my home seems not like mv
own. There are many w ho would
■ not give a certificate on an opium
cure, but nevertheless I desire to
■do as 1 promised to do, for you
! have done me more good than all
t other doctors, so 1 desire to make
j it known to you anil the public.
I will do all I can for von, God
j know s I w ill. So J will close,
j May you live long anil go on
, with your good work in the future
as you have in the past, and may
■ your life be one of pleasure as a
' reward for your gooil work here
! on this earth, and mav vour last
days be your happiest ones, and
at last when the cold damp dews
of death are falling fast around
you, Oh. may you have a sweet
and peaceful hour in which to
die—is my prayer. I remain
your well-wisher and true friend
until death.
