MARRIED SUNDAY.
A Romantic Wedding at the Home of Mr,
T. N. Hoskinson.
A wedding that was a surprise to most
of the friends of the contracting parties
occurred Sunday afternoon at the home
of Mr. T. N. Hoskinson in the Fifth
ward.
The bride was Miss Millie McConnell
and the bridegroom Mr. Frank L. West.
■For some time these young people have
had this step in contemplation, and set a
date for sometime within the next few
weeks. There was some opposition to the
match, however, and Sunday the young
people determined to delay no longer,
lest the desire of their hearts might never
be consummated. With the assistance of
Mr. Hoskinson a license was secured, and
Rev. 8. R. Belk’s services were enjoyed.
At Mr. Hoskinson’s residence he pro
nounced them man and wife. The news
was quickly told, and the happy young
people received forgiveness and blessing.
The bride is a very charming and popu
lar young lady, and Mr. West is a young
man with many friends. They are receiv
ing many congratulations and well
wishes.
