of the Jockey club in ruling off Riley
Grannan and refusing entries of Will
Wallace, two noted young Kentucky
turfmen, caused a big sensation here.
The concensus of opinion among breed
ers and turfmen is that the action is ill
I advised and will result in injury to the
eastern turf. Kentucky breeders may
I refuse to enter in eastern stakes. Sym
pathy is all with the two turfmen, who
