SUICIDE
I BY THE INSTALLMENT PUN.
| It is a laudable ambition which
I prompts any person to earn and to
B save portion of the earnings. The
■ foundations of the world had their
I beginnings in tl at way. But it is well
B ' enough to bear in mind, at the same
I time, that there are better things in
■ the world than wealth. Good health
■ is one of them.
I * We are quite apt to envy the pos-
I essor of great wealth; but far more is
I to be envied the- man or woman
I witn robust health, unwavering cour-
I age, nnd the disposition to go through
I life with a song and a smile. If you
I have good health you can be happy
■ without money, but wealth cannot
I bring happiness,"without ivaltb.
I To buy impure foods and second
I grade can goods, is simply poisoning
I stomach, destroying digestion and
I producing suicide tu the installment
I plan
F We will not keep an impure article
k of anything, and when we sell a thing
& it is backed up with our guarantee
that it must please you in every res-
pect, or you can get your money
H back.

and when it is eaten with some of our
pure Maple syrup in cans it is easily
digested, 15 and 20 cts., the package.
W e have never had such a large sales
on South Georgia Cane Syrup, as we
have this season. There are three rea
sons for this: First it is pure, secondly,
it is the best that can be made. Thirdly,
At fifty cents the gallon it is below its
actual value. It is from a farm in South
Georgia where adulternation is unknown.
“EVERY DROP IS A DROP OF COMFORT.”
That is what you would say of our
coffees if you would try them. Our Java

Our ro.isted Santos coffee at 25 cents
the pound is the same that we have sold
to you at 30 cents.

THE ROME TRIBUNE. WEDNESDAY, DECEMBER 2 1896.
Sarsaparilla
Sense.
Any sarsaparilla is sarsapa
rilla. True. So any tea is tea.
So any flour is flour. But grades
differ. You want the best. It’s
so with sarsaparilla. There are
■ grades. You want the best. If
you understood sarsaparilla as
well as you do tea and flour it
would be easy to determine.
But you don’t. How should
you? When you are going to
buy a commodity whose value
you don’t know, you pick out
.an old established house to
trade with, and trust their ex
perience and reputation. Do so
when buying sarsaparilla.
Ayer’s Sarsaparilla has been
on the market 50 years. Your
grandfather used Ayer’s. It is
a reputable medicine. There
are many Sarsaparillas—
bat only one Ayer’a. It
cures.

AGAINST NO FENCE.
Justice Walter Harris Renders an Import
ant Decision.
Yesterday Justice Walter Harris
rendered a very important decision in
the case of Broada and King against
G. H. Miller.
The trial of the case was on a pos
sessory warrant for the recoverry of
stock impounded by Mr. Miller under
the provisions of the no fence law in
Van’s Valley district.
Justice Harris decided that those
who laid off the district had not com
plied with the law, and that the cut
off was consequently invalid.
This is another case growing out of
the fence and no-fence complications
under the recent decision of the su
preme court.
