It was a case of love at first sight and
the young man began to earnestly lay

Messrs. M. G. McDonald and J. C.

the city. ;
Last summer some capitalists from
Rockford, 111., were here in Rome and
were so greatly impressed with the
business methods and superior man

would come to Rockford, 111., and take
charge of a big factory they desire to
build.
Messrs. McDonald and Lewis have
not yet. decided what action they will
take, but it is hoped they will not con

with. But the offer is a very tempt
ing one.
