Interesting Experience of an Indianapolis
Gentleman. -
No trouble is more common or more
misunderstood than nervous dyspepsia.
People having ic think that their nerves
are to blame and are surprised that they
are not cured by nerve medicine and
spring remedies; the real seat of the
mischief is lost sight of; the stomach is
she organ to be looked after.
Nervous dyspeptics often do not have
anv pain whatever in the stomach, nor
perhaps anv of the usual symptoms of
mo much weakness. Nervous dyspepsia
shows itself not in the stomach so much
us in nearly every other organ; in some
oases the heart palpitates and is irregu
lar; in others the kidneys are affec’ed;
in others the bowels are constipated,
with headaches; still others are troubled
with loss of flesh and appetite, with ac
cumulation of gas, sour risings and
heartburn.
Mr. A. W. Sharper of No. 61 Prospect
St., Indianapolis, Ind:, writes as fol
lows: “A motive of pure gratitude
prompts me to write these few lines re
garding the new and valuable medicine,
Stuart's D spepsia Tablets. I have been
a sufferer from nervous dyspepsia for the
last four years; have used various patent
medicines and other remedies without
any favorable result. They sometimes
gave temporary relief until the effects
of the medicine wore off I attributed
this to my sedentary habits, being a
bookkeeper with little physical exercise,
but 1 am glad to state that the tablets
havfi overcome all these obstacles, for
I have gained in flesh, sleep better,
and am better in every way. The
above is written not for notoriety,
but is based on actual fact ’’
Respectfully yours,
A. W Sharper,
61 Prospect St. ludiauapolis, Ind.

Her Mejosty Kefanea to Accept Inatrauient
AladH by Joint Highbarger.
f’ARKERSBURG, W. Va.,Oct. 12.—Sev
eral months ago, John L. Highbarger
of Harper’s Ferry, Va., constructed a
sweet toned violin of cedar wood from
a tree grown on the old John Brown
place.
He conceived the idea of presenting
the instrument to Qneen Victoria of
England, who, he was informed, had
spoken in high terms of the abolitionist.
He accordingly wrote asking if the queen
would accept the gift if he sent it. The
offer was respectfully declined in a note
to the following effect:
“Sir Arthur E, Biggs is commanded
to thank John L. Highbarger for his
kina offer contained in his letter of
July 2, but at the same time to add that
it would not be possible for the queen to
accept a violin, as it is an invariab.e
rule that offerings of this nature should
Dot be received by her majesty.”

General Lassitude.
We are provided with five organs for keep,
ing the blood pure; they are the skin, the
kidneys, the Mver, the lungs and the
bowels. The blood becomes impure tor
one or both of two reasons:
' First, something impure has been put
Into it; Second, the five excretory organs
have not been sufficiently active.
Owing to its complicated formation, the
blood is liable to many morbid changes.
If any ot the organs just mentioned are not
in perfect working order, so that impurities
are retained, the blood becomes disordered
and even diseased. When corrupted, its
impurities are absorbed by the tissues, caus
ing eruptions,fevers, lassitude and langour.
For restoring the above organs to a health
ful condition there is no medicine so effec
tive as Dr. M. A, Simmons Liver Modi*
