Section 12. It shad be the duty of the
registrars, or assistant registrars, of said
county, to submit tbeir books of regis
tration to the grand jury drawn for the
spring t urn of each year, which grand
jury shall be charged with the examina
tion of said books of registr-tion in a
manner similar to that now provided by
law for the examinati m of tha dockets of
the justices of the peace of tho several
districts of said county.
