came up just short as they
fell to the Bobcats, 62-59.
MCHS was led by
Jackson with 13 points,
Mincey added 12 and
Brantley scored 10 in the
loss.
Girls vs. Dublin
The Lady Eagles
played well against a good
Dublin girls team, but a
bad third period cost
them the game. MCHS
was on top 12-8 at the
end of the first period,
but the Lady Irish came
back in the second.
MCHS held them off and
were up by just one, 21-
20 at the end of the first
half.
In the third quarter
the Irish took the lead and
outscored MCHS 13-7,
putting them in front 33-
28 heading to the fourth
period. The Eagles came
back, but came up short,
losing the game 45-43.
Boys vs. Dubin
In the boys game the
Irish had control through
out. They were up 21-11
at the end of the first and
pushed that lead to 41-28
by halftime. Dublin led
59-43 at the end of the
third and the Irish took
the win, 79-58.
Girls vs. Wheeler
The Lady Eagles
jumped out to a 10-0 lead
on Wheeler and pushed
that to 19-0 before the
Lady Bulldogs could put
their first points on the
board. The score by the
end of the first period was
25-1. In the second
MCHS continued to pull
away.
In the third they were
up 39-12 and MCHS
went on to win the game
72-16.
Boys vs. Wheeler
The boys game was
closer, but Montgomery
still came away with the
win. The Eagles defeated
Wheeler 56-43 in the Re
gion contest.
The Lady Eagles are
7-4 on the year and are
4-3 in Region play while
the boys are 4-8 and 2-6.
This week MCHS hosted
Telfair County on Tues
day after presstime, and
will be back in action on
Friday at Jenkins County
at 6:0 p.m. and will travel
to Treutlen County on
Saturday at 6:00 p.m.

Girls vs. Trinity
RTCA struggled to
find the basket early in
this game as Trinity
pulled out to an early
14-0 lead. By the end of
the first period the score
was 19-0. Trinity won the
game 50-13 over the Lady
Crusaders.
Boys vs. Trinity
The boys had no
problems with Trinity as
they led 40-27 by half
time. In the third Clayton
Meadows got things go
ing with a three-pointer
from the corner and then
Tyler Buggs hit a three for
a 46-27 lead. Buggs added
two free-throws and then
Justin Walker pushed that
lead to 50-27.
Buggs hit another
three and Jashaun Powell
got the next two baskets
to make it 59-34 wth just
over a minute to go in the
third. At the end of the
third the score was 61-35.
RTCA won the game 77-
53.
Girls vs. St. Andrew's
The Lady Crusaders
trailed the Lady Lions 5-4
at the end of the first pe
riod, but in the second St.
Andrew's outscored
RTCA 14-2 as they took a
19-6 halftime lead. In the
third the Lions were on
top 27-12 and they took
the win, 44-17 over
RTCA.
Boys vs. St. Andrew's
The boys kept their
winning ways going as
they rolled over the Lions
thanks to a big third pe
riod. The Lions were up
16-13 at the end of the
first period and they in
creased their lead to 34-
26 by halftime.
In the third period
RTCA outscored St. An
drew's 20-2 as they took
over the game and were
up 46-36 heading to the
fourth. RTCA went on to
win the game 60-48.
The girls are 3-10 on
the year and the boys are
now 12-1.
This week RTCA
hosted Twiggs Academy
on Tuesday after press
time, and the boys will be
at Memorial Day on Fri
day at 6:00 p.m.

The Board of Commissioners of the
Housing Authority of the City of
Lyons will hold its Annual Meeting
on Monday, January 25, 2021 at
6:30 P.M. at the Resident Building
located at 165 E. Wesley Avenue
in Lyons,Georgia. The purpose of
this meeting is to elect officers
for 2021 and to discuss/approve
other matters which may need the
attention of the Board.

1. Must be in the judgment of the appointing Grand Jury, qualified and
competent to serve as a Grand Juror;
2. Must own real property;
3. Be a high school graduate;
4. Not be a member of county or municipality governing authority, board of
education, or board of assessors, or employee of the county board of tax
assessors, or county tax appraiser;
5. Members must complete a 40-hour course of training within the first year
of appointment;
6. An 8-hour recertification training course per year is required thereafter.
