HOLOCAUST REMEMBRANCE AT VHS — Students in the Honors World History class at Vidalia High School remembered
the Holocaust this week by researching and listing names of people who were killed by the Nazi regime before and
during World War II. These lists were displayed by the students in the school's hallway for others to read the names
and personal information about the victims of this horrible tragedy. The history students made mini-posters showing
the major aspects of the Holocaust and posted these on doors throughout the school. These activities helped the
VHS students to realize that the Holocaust was not just about numbers, but it involved real people who lost family
members, friends, neighbors, and their own lives in this dark chapter of the history of Mankind. Pictured are (left to
right): Ryleigh Siedling, Gracie McLendon, Lyndsey Morris, Emma Vinson, Brinley Spivey, Alexis Head, Shelby Clifton.
