RTCA Celebrates 100 Days
Robert Toombs Christian Academy cel
ebrated their 100th day of school on January
21, 2022. Kindergarten students celebrated
the day by dressing up as old men and wom
en. They also made a poster with 100 items
of their choice. First grade students made a
snack mix with 100 ingredients, made hats,
necklaces, built with 100 legos, and did a
100 piece puzzle. Second grade students
colored a picture then wrote about their fa
vorite memory that has happened at school
this year so far. Third graders also made post
ers with 100 items. Third graders and fourth
graders wrote about what they want to do
before they turn 100 years old. Fifth graders
wrote about their favorite memory that has
happened at school this year so far.

$408 Million Earmarked
For Broadband Awards
Altamaha EMC Gets Almost $6 Million

Governor Brian P. Kemp,
joined by members of the Broad
band Infrastructure Committee
and state leaders, announced
on Tuesday, February 1, almost
$408 million in preliminary
awards that will provide com
munities, households, and busi
nesses in 70 Georgia counties
access to faster and more reliable
broadband.
These 49 American Rescue
Plan Act (ARPA) grant projects
represent an investment of more
than $738 million in Georgia
when matching funds are con
tributed.
Almost $6 million of this
funding will come to Altamaha
