PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE
Zoning Classification: R-1
Map/Parcel #: L30-015
The City of Lyons Zoning Commission will hold a Public
Hearing on January 23rd at 6:30 p.m. E. Muriel Bell submitted an
application requesting a variance on the R-1 zoning ordinance.
The intent is to operate a learning center with an emphasis on
tutoring and counseling. The property consists of .33 acres
and is located at 155 Hilton Drive. The Planning and Zoning
Commission will make a recommendation on the request.
The City Council will then hold a Public Hearing and make
a final decision on the request on February 6 th at 6:00 P.M.
The Public Hearing will be held in the Council Room at 161
NE Broad Street, Lyons, Georgia. Persons with special needs
relating to handicapped accessibility or foreign language shall
contact City Hall at (912) 526-3626 prior to the date above.
