“I’m just saying
right now, do not
move that city limits
sign down Loop Rd. If
you want that Oaks
Complex in the city
limits, build it in the
city limits. Don't force
people that don't
want to be in the city
limits to now become
residents of the city
limits. That's unfair."
“Just a thought, ev
erybody keeps talk
ing about shop local.
Sometimes people
can't shop local be
cause the shops are
so expensive. They
have to buy from mil
lionaires and they
keep building their
business, and they
turn around and
charge high prices.
You can't always
shop local."
“The Informed Citi
zens Coalition of
Montgomery County
(inaudible) so called
petition was found
not allowable under
the law. I wonder how
much of the other
stuff they've done
their homework on is
actually true. When
something is too
good to be true al
ways remember, it
probably is."
“Do you ever no
tice when you have
something stolen and
call to get a police
report, they take a
number, turn it over to
a deputy that turns it
over to a detective.
Three days later they
call you and the issue
is already passed by
then. They got 20
deputies riding
around in 25 cars or
trucks and they never
have time. They are
looking for somebody
with a seatbelt off
rather than doing
their job. We need a
new sheriff's depart
ment."
“In the 1960s and
1970s, Congress sold
out to the auto and
airplane industries
and did not subsidize
RURAL passenger
trains and buses, so
they stopped run
ning. Now Americans
are waiting long hours
and sleeping in air
ports when a train
would already have
gotten them to their
destinations within
our country with a lot
less hassle. Why won't
Congress subsidize
RURAL transportation
from town to town as
they already do for
the big cities?"
