Bom in Floyd County, she lived in the metro Atlanta area for the past 33 years. Mrs. Cain was the mother of Crystal Sullivan of Hoschton; grandmother of McKenzie Sullivan and Patrick Sullivan, both of Hoschton. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, November 12, at 2 p.m., in the chapel of Hamilton Mill Memorial Funeral Home in Buford. Barrow Journal, November 12, 2008 Charles Hough Charles DeWayne Hough, 74, of Winder, died Tuesday, November 4, 2008. Bom in Ohio County, W. Va., he was the son of the late Wayne Walter and Thelma Roberts Hough. He was a veteran, having served in the United States Army. Survivors include his wife, Donna Hough, Winder; a son, David Hough, Athens; daugh ters and sons-in-law, Debra and Louis Hercurles, Tamara and Bill Lawhorne, Wheeling, W.Va., Susan and Keith Chapman, Winder, Laurie and Ali Zulifiqar, Norcross, Rachel and Daniel Gartias, Norcross, and Jennifer Hough, Swanee; 17 grandchildren; one great grandchild; a brother, Thomas Hough, Ohio; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services were held Saturday, November 8, at Smith Memory Chapel. The body was cremated. Smith Funeral Home, Winder, was in charge of arrangements. Barrow Journal, November 12, 2008 Ray Armstrong Ray Armstrong, 92, of Auburn, died Tuesday, November 4, 2008. He was the son of the late Ellic Armstrong and was a member of Auburn First Baptist Church. He was retired from Avondale Mills. Survivors include his wife, Margaret Armstrong, Auburn; niece, Jan Cruse, Auburn; great-nephews, Bryant Cruse and Tommy Cruse; great- niece, Elizabeth Woodard; eight great-great-nieces and nephews; and two great-great- great nephews. Funeral services were held Thursday, November 6, at Smith Memory Chapel with the Revs. Robert Whitehead and Chris Perkins officiat ing. Burial was in Barrow Memorial Gardens. She had lived in Barrow County for most of her life and was a homemak er. Survivors in addition to her parents, include her hus band, Chris Little; sons, Chad Little and Cody Little, both of Bethlehem; sister, Kristie Hinkle Lovell, Winder; niec es, Destiny Lovell and Kaylee Little. Funeral services were held Wednesday, November 12, in the chapel of Carter Funeral Home with the Revs. Ned Davis and Larry Youngblood officiating. Burial was in Barrow Memorial Gardens. Born in Oconee County, she was the daughter of the late James Y. and Ruth Autry Hodges. She was a homemak er and a member of Hebron Christian Church. Mrs. Wingo was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Taylor Wingo; and a brother, Donald Hodges. Survivors include sons, Jack Hodges Wingo, McDonough, Donald Wingo, Statham; and a daughter, Shirley Ruth Coleman, Statham; eight grandchildren; six great grandchildren; three great- great-grandchildren; sister and brother-in-law, Betty and Ralph Brooks, Tallahassee, Fla.; and sisters-in-law, Maud Hodges and Jo Huff. Funeral services were held Saturday, November 8, at Hebron Christian Church with the Rev. Danny Shoemake officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery. A native of Gwinnett County, she was the daughter of the late Ben and Carrie Hayes Wilkins. She was a retired seamstress and was a mem ber of Cedar Creek Baptist Church. Mrs. McDougald was preceded in death by her hus band, Allen McDougald. Survivors include sons and daughters-in-law, Jack and Clarice McDougald, Young Harris, Jerry and Shirley McDougald, Macon; brother and sister-in-law, Hoyt and Charlene Wilkins, Hoschton; four grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. Barrow Journal, November 12, 2008 Versie Perego Versie Alice Calloway Perego, 89, of Hoschton, died Wednesday, November 5, 2008, at Willow Wood Nursing Center, following an extended illness. Born in Oglethorpe County, she was the daughter of the late John and Alice McDonald Calloway. She was a mem ber of Temple Baptist Church. She loved life and spread laughter to all who knew her during her final years, loved ones stated. Mrs. Perego was preceded in death by her hus band, Leonard Melvin Gill; and daughters, Margaret Ann Gill Dyer, Betty Jo Gill Payne and Connie Lee Gill Wilson. Survivors include daughters and sons-in-law, Diane Taylor, Gainesville, Janie Chumbler, Cleveland, Gloria and Larry Reinhardt, Hoschton, and Brenda and Glen Proctor, Las Vegas, Nv.; sons, Charles and Michael Gill, both of Gainesville; sister, Ethel Chambers, Flowery Branch; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. Funeral services were held Sunday, November 9, in the chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home with Dr. James Ransom officiating. Burial was at New Bridge Baptist Church cemetery. Born in Barrow County, he was the son of the late Glen and Bethel Jones Pentecost. He was a member of Pentecost Methodist Church, was retired from IBM, and was a vet eran, having served in the Iggjjj — United States Air Force in Korea. Mr. Pentecost was preceded in death by a son, Charles Andrew Pentecost; and a brother. Jack Pentecost. Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law. Maxwell and Wanda Pentecost, Winder; grandchildren. Max and Britt Elise Pentecost; brothers and sister-in-law, John R. and Sue Ellen Pentecost and Alan Pentecost, all of Winder; and a sister. Carmen Hall, Winder.
