HUGHES Whiddon, Hughes wed Ashley Lynn Whiddon and Jonathan Zachary Hughes were united in marriage on Oct. 4, 2008, at the home of the bride’s mother. Judge Michael Strickland officiated at the ceremony. The bride is the daughter of Susan Treadwell and Frank Giles, and Gary Whiddon, all of Winder. The groom is the son of Laverne and Jeff Grissom, Hoschton, and John and Jeannie Hughes, Flowery Branch. Page Bradley, Winder, sister of the bride, was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Danielle Bentley, Amanda Sacci, Carrie Hilley, Kori Kilgore, Jordan Hughes, and Christina Beggs. Lindsay Bradley, niece of the bride, was junior bridesmaid. Flower girls were Taylor Hughes, daughter of the groom and Dayton Power. Derrick Kilgore served as best man. Groomsmen were Logan Bowman, Heath Bowman, Russell McCracken, Ryan Daniel, Ryne Caldwell and Shane Brownlee. Logan Bradley, nephew of the bride, was junior groomsman. The rehearsal dinner was hosted by the grandparents of the groom and held at the home of the bride’s mother. The wedding music was provided by Carroll Eddleman.
