WHO CAN RESIST THIS FACE?

He’s also smart, playful and ready
for a home. Contact the Animal
Control Office at 770-307-3012 to
adopt any of the Journal’s Pets of
the Week.
SAD EYES, WARM HEART
This little guy is shy and a bit fear
ful at first, but warms right up with
some love. He is a 2-3 year old
Terrier/Dachshund mix with short
legs, a long body and a quiet dis
position.
PLEASE! PICK ME!
This little, male Spaniel pup is as
sweet, enthusiastic and people-ori
ented as he can be. You can just tell,
with training and lots of exercise,
he’ll be a great dog someday. Call
770-307-3012 for adoption informa
tion.
ITTY BITTY KITTY
This little girl and her siblings were
surrendered with their mother. They
are all pretty kittens; this little girl is
the only Siamese-looking one. She
is very brave and social and seems
like she will be a beautiful cat.
LIVELIER THAN HE LOOKS
This little guy is a 3 month old, Lab/
Rottweiler mix with huge feet and
a very calm disposition. He is a bit
shy, as if he’s been abused some,
but warms right up and becomes all
puppy once he feels safe.
LIL’ LAB
This small fellow was surrendered
with a litter of siblings. They are lab
mixes and of all of them, he is the
calmest. He’s a sweet, little guy and
will need a home that understands
a puppy’s need for exercise and
training.
NOTHIN’ BUT A HOUND DOG
This little fellow is about 8 weeks
old and is just adorable. He’s friend
ly, smart and will make some body
a real good pet. He will need a home
that can assist with a puppy’s exer

GIVE THIS GUY A CHANCE
This young, male Pit Bull mix is
very friendly and a little bit goofy.
He loves people and seems very
intelligent. He will need a home
where he gets frequent walks and
has plenty of toys.
STILL HOPING
This adult female Husky mix was
found roaming with two other dogs.
All three are skinny and in need
of grooming, but as nice as they
can be. This girl seems like a real
sweetheart.
SIMPLY A SWEETHEART
This young male cat is still at the
shelter. He’s as friendly and cuddly
as he can be. He loves people and
has a great big purr. Call 770-307-
3012 to adopt and provide a new
home for him today.
Adoption Updates:
Last week the shelter took in more animals than it adopted out. “Kitten season” is in full
swing, which means many pregnant and mother cats and kittens are surrendered. Litters of
puppies and their mothers are also being brought in. The message? Spay and neuter your pets!
A few of our featured pets have been adopted. The little miniature pinscher we featured twice
got a home, as did the shy adult Border Collie female. The Llaso Apso went to a rescue and
the American Bulldog puppy and young male tabby cat both got new homes.
There are several wonderful, friendly, adult cats still at the shelter, including two super nice
neutered males. There is also a wonderful young, looks-to-be-pure-bred Husky pup, two adult
female Husky mixes and a couple of Australian Shepard puppies, both as sweet as can be.
These are just a few of the fine animals available for adoption. Call 770-307-3012 today.
